Rovinj is considered by many to be the most photogenic, romantic and artistic of towns. The Baroque church of St. Euphemia provides the town with its characteristic bell tower silhouette. The whole coastal region, along with 22 islands, is a protected natural haven, which can be seen in its entirety via a boat. The two-day festival of "Rovinjska noc" (Rovinj Night) held in the middle of August, is a special experience, with its rich cultural entertainment and fine cuisine.
