The Island of Vis
The Island of Vis is Croatia`s most remote Island, distinctive for its unspoiled martime area, the karst phenomena of Modra, for Medvjdna and for the Green Caves. Its many ancient sites and centuries-old architectural centres of the towns of Komiža and Vis, mellow valleys of the central parts of the island, covered by vineyards, citrus fruits and palms, are only part of its overall charm.
